There has not been a bad Spider-Man movie (good to great MCU Tom Holland, instantly iconic Spider-Verse), TV series (Friendly Neighbourhood Spidey, Spider-Noir is fab), or videogame (Insomniac are awesome) in the last decade. Generational run of high quality across all mediums.

Critically acclaimed. Emmy nominated. Showrunner just made another hit MCU movie. And you wanna cancel this?! Madness. What a dumb move.
‘WONDER MAN’ has been cancelled. The show is no longer returning for a Season 2. (Source: variety.com/2026/tv/news...)

I rewatched Dungeons & Dragons last month and it was just as fun as I remembered. Give us that sequel!!!
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves co-director Jonathan Goldstein says the script for a sequel already exists, but he's not expecting it to see the light of day any time soon. https://bit.ly/4bIsrNA #SDCC
The Across the Spider-Verse one was particularly fine.
Chinese poster for the new Spider-Man film makes me want to start buying film posters again.
This might change at some point, but for now there's something about a Marvel Hall H panel at SDCC - the mecca of all geekdom - that gets my inner nerd very excited...
The framing of this as "crashing" frustrates me, because this was absolutely a stunt arranged through & with the support of Comic Con, probably to avoid the protests & pushback if people had known about it in advance. It's not a fun perk for fans, it's stealth marketing of a domestic abuser.
Johnny Depp surprised fans at Comic-Con by showing up unannounced at an unrelated panel in character as Ebenezer Scrooge.
After Michael and Super Mario, it'd be nice to have a billion dollar movie this year that's actually good!
‘THE ODYSSEY’ is now tracking to pass $1 billion worldwide in its box office run. It is expected to become Christopher Nolan's highest grossing film ever.
These are the only shots of the screen that we should want taken. From IMAX 70mm projectionist Taylor Umphenour. www.instagram.com/p/DbCbkvMlBx... “Each show is a reminder that the theatrical experience is still capable of something truly extraordinary.”
Fine, I'll admit it: there's a solid chance I'll watch this. #AvengersDoomsday www.youtube.com/watch?v=irVN...

This is everything wrong with how we share interview clips today in one tweet. - Deliberately negative and inaccurate framing - No link or credit given to the outlet - But it’s got over a million views
This week's episode of #XMen97 is the first time this season I've felt like they're once again burning through great stories farrrrrr too quickly. Not without its moments, but there's so much more to be said and done with a defanged, no adamantium Wolverine than what they do here. A shame!

Dear Andy Serkis: Hobbits aren't real. Nowhere in the Lord of the Rings did Tolkien say "every single hobbit in the Shire is white." Also, if he did, hobbits aren't real. It won't destroy your story, which again, is fiction, to have some Black and Brown hobbits. Sincerely, Sheryl
THE ODYSSEY: Believe the hype. Top tier Nolan. Spectacular and intimate and all at once. In a sea of great performances, John Leguizamo is my MVP. Best film of 2026 so far.
Sam Neill on tackling depression and imposter syndrome when you’re between jobs.
"It is not enough to remember the mistakes of our past, Charles. Honor me with action, not tears. That world needs you. It always has. Perhaps that is why I gladly played the devil who pushes sinners to embrace the saint." Magneto's dialogue in X-Men '97 is always a cut above the rest.
I agree that it's high time for a moratorium on real life metaphors

For months, DC Studios knew the film wasn't working. Things came to a head in March when the studio tested its own cut against one from filmmaker Craig Gillespie.

Happy #XMen97 day to all who celebrate! Somehow, they found a way to make the intro even cooler! Those fresh guitar riffs are everything. Never has the 'Skip Intro' popup been so unwelcome.

Fun fact: After 9 years, this is the first 5 star review for a film or TV series that I've written for Empire. Wild! But The Bear sure as hell earned it. Episode 7 of this final season is truly incredible and worth multiple watches. Gonna miss Carmy, Sydney, and the crew (yes, even the Fak's)!
"Makes for an especially satisfying last supper." Carmy, Syd and Richie return for one final service as The Bear returns for its fifth and final season — stream on Disney+ from tomorrow. Read our ★★★★★ review: www.empireonline.com/tv/reviews/t...
Just watched Disclosure Day. That Spielberg guy is gonna go far. Mark my words.
