Lawrence Hurley@lawrencehurley.bsky.social · 2y agoThis comes after we have had a long line of Supreme Court cases involving conservative Christians complaining about being shut out of government programs for discriminatory reasons. Court also says it is totally off-limits to question legitimacy of someone's faith.

Chris has it exactly right: a. Cannon has no jurisdiction because of the appeal of the dismissal. She has no power to do jack shit in this case now. b. She’s got no business addressing the 1/6 report not only because of (a) but because that’s totally separate from the case she dismissed. (1/2)

We also have a HUGE national shortage of construction workers, agricultural workers and food processors, landscapers, and hospitality workers. But he wants all of them all deported as not useful, while justifying migrants in his industries.
