If you think Fox has ramped up the Islamophobic outrage over Abdul El-Sayed's victory, you really need to check out what Newsmax was doing last night. It's hard to put into words how racist this is, but also notice how the anchor lies and calls El-Sayed an "immigrant from another Muslim country."

The full brief is remarkable. While the U.S. Attorney attempts to downplay the misconduct, he admits to discussing the incident with Main Justice as early as Sept. 27 and having the Oct. 9 grand jury transcript as early Oct. 14. The brief shows that the office repeatedly misled the Court.

I love that this guy thinks he has a choice of which hospital to go to. Newsfalsh asshole, you don't. It depends on if you have insurance, not medicaid, if they have the capability to care for your specific illness and if you're lucky, there is a doctor available to treat your whiny ass.

I live in DE on a remote beach, no local representation. Not kidding. I have no council person to vote for, no local sheriff, nobody. I have 2 senators and 1 rep in DC, McBride is running in the primary unopposed, Coons has 3 challengers, one named E. No-Trump Hansen, lol. We'll vote and do lunch.

This is a wildly prescient story about Chicago's proto-RFK Jr., in charge of public health during the Spanish Flu. He thought beer killed malaria and that bathing could kill you. He had a feud with an actual TB doctor, who insisted bathing is good. He bullied the TB doctor until he killed himself.

Sachs believed that the new administration was undermining patient care by making hiring and contract decisions based on political connections. Thompson and Robertson in turn accused Sachs of being financially extravagant, incompetent, and dictatorial. As Sachs resigned from the sanitarium he had worked tirelessly to build, Frank Billings, one of the most respected physicians in the city, called Robertson “utterly unqualified.” On April 2, 1916, Sachs committed suicide. For reformers and the medical establishment, Sachs was a martyr to grotesque political corruption. Although The Republican, a propaganda sheet literally published in an office in City Hall, sneered that suicide “occasionally has been a haven of moral cowards who preferred the shelter of death to public exposure of their shortcomings,” Robertson took a less confrontational tone after Sachs’s death. Still, he refused to step down.
