Nobody sees the 4:00 am works outs. Nobody sees the hours of meal prepping. Nobody sees the time spent in meditation bettering myself. Nobody sees any of this. Because I don’t do these things.

i had a very stupid idea for a sitcom about a depressed guy running a shop alongside the incompetent AI droid who was learning from him in order to take his job, and in the first episode the droid tries to kill the guy because it learned how to act from movies about AI. nice to see it come true

We started by investigating why Claude chose to blackmail. We believe the original source of the behavior was internet text that portrays AI as evil and interested in self-preservation.

Our post-training at the time wasn’t making it worse—but it also wasn’t making it better.
