Hadn't considered the heat factor, but it's a good one. As per the "are people ready" factor, I do think starting the season in the current Week 0 will see some TV boosts, but not on the level some might expect. Could be okay, but I'm skeptical it produces huge audience growth.

Since July 5, I have read all 47 of Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe books (most are novels, some are collections of shorter stories). Remarkable characters and world, excellent discussions of food and crime, and great variations on a theme. Very satisfactory.

Love this one. Hadn't come across it before. There are many people who could use a good "Aroint!"
