Dolly was in no way politically neutral. she wasn't *partisan* as far as I can tell, and nobody on the right wanted to tangle with her, but her politics were not a particularly subtle part of her life.
This is factually true but you can't criticize JK Rowling in the UK without having ruinous lawfare threatened against you.

They try to flatter an individual trans person to get them to go on a show so they can then get a clip of trans people looking crazy. It's very important that when this happens, you don't do it.
