Andy Burnham wants growth for every region. There's an obvious lever to pull to achieve it. That delivers a £92 billion economic boost. Distributed across the UK. And especially to manufacturing-intensive areas in the Midlands & North. The answer to his domestic policy agenda? EU membership.

Men are using Meta AI glasses to secretly film women at beaches, shops, on the street & on nights out. They then post these clips online where they receive a barrage of misogynistic abuse. I’m campaigning to make this behaviour an offence. Women deserve to feel safe in public spaces.

I don't know why this is so hard for some people to grasp. If we extend our use of fossil gas, rather than going all-out for grid batteries, heat pumps and induction hobs, we extend our dependence on *foreign* sources of gas, regardless of whether we also use the UK's last remaining reserves. 🧵
