Every time I've had a rubbish day and see more gloom on the social, I'm remind of the people I encounter daily who are doing wonderful things, often against the odds.

Tried watching the Lestat thing on iPlayer last night. The ultimate volume challenge between very ugly music and mumbled lines. Did nobody do a sound mix on this?

No I do not want to fill in a fucking Teams survey about the quality of the call I've just come off after 20 similar calls today. Half the people on it froze, of those who were there the rest kept on sounding like Twiki in Battlestar Galactica.

This thread from the Spanish Foreign Office is really useful for anyone faced with mis/disinformation about the situation in Ceuta. There is one hell of a lot of that about at the moment!! Please use it to counteract ignorant claims, wherever they're from. It's available in French and Spanish too.

1/5 🧵 Entering Spain irregularly through Ceuta or Melilla does not grant any right to remain in the country, travel to mainland Spain, or move freely within Europe. It also poses a grave risk to life. No court ruling has changed this. 🔗 www.exteriores.gob.es/en/Comunicac...

Report on Andy Burnham going on holiday in guess which paper and making a point of Louise Haigh being a 'convicted fraudster' and an excerpt from the Internet explains why she isn't. I'm sick of this paper demonising Labour, Northern women.
