Extremely happy to say I will be starting my first ever paid, full time game industry job in April! After almost a year of searching, it feels good to finally have a foot in the door. If nothing else changes, I’ll be available for work again starting in September!

Super excited to announce that I am giving a talk at Narrascope this year!! Come hear me talk about one specific way that video games can be inspired by tabletop! And then talk to me after the talk about all the other ways!

Let’s talk about what my AI agents have done in the past day: - My cursors have clicked the big cookie 1000 TIMES (1 cps each) - My grandmas have baked 4380 COOKIES (5 cps each) - I’m close to buying my first COOKIE FARM If you still have to manually click to make cookies, you’re falling behind.

Token Anxiety

A friend left a party at 9:30 on a Saturday. Not tired. Not sick. He wanted to get back to his agents.
Nobody questions it anymore. Half the room is thinking the same thing. The other half are probably checking the progress of their agents. At a party.
All the parties are sober now. Young people don't drink because they're going back to work after. Not inspired by Bryan Johnson, although that's probably a factor. The buzz they want now runs on tokens per day.

I know this won’t change with the general gaming audience, especially because I didn’t see the harm when I was younger and not in the industry yet, but I hate when a game becomes a punchline. Everyone is just trying to make cool shit, man. There’s nothing funny about other people’s misfortune.
