This is the exact same behavior I saw with cheaters on steam. They couldn’t believe everyone else wasn’t cheating. They were sure everyone else was cheating but just hadn’t been caught. It’s cool to see this mental defect move from 15 year old boys to powering our economy….

Indeed, for 2026 Democrats, the "fringe opinion" is unwavering support for Israel. Centrists who pretend to be gobsmacked that someone criticizing Israel's genocide in Gaza might do well in a Democratic primary are announcing that they don't know anything about the current state of politics.

Air quality. I grew up in the Los Angeles basin in the 70s and 80s and remember having to stay inside because the smog was so bad - Stage 2 smog alerts, they were called. Apparently they haven't had one of those since 1988. Haven't had a stage one smog alert since 2003.

As an aside, if any other professionals were as incompetent as certain journalists, they'd be sacked and disbarred. But in the rightwing press, gross incompetence appears to be a qualification. After all, without its bullshitters for hire, how else would capital deny, deflect and distract?

I lost my 550+ day survivor in "The Long Dark" last night to a fluke. Encountered a bear at close range, either no warning audio or I missed it due to real-world noise, which mauled me *twice* without any control input. While walking to a nearby abandoned car to hide in, a wolf finished me off.
Frankly I don't understand the current fad among CEOs of saying they want to enter a mature market with a product that's trying to be the same as the other offerings already in it. You can't compete that way; you need your product to stand out from the competition.

Most NYC taxpayers never use the cops or firefighters. Heck, most don't even use most of the roads in the city. (*Civilization* is a "socialist trap" by the glibertarian definition of the phrase, even if they don't realise it.)
