When I think of how the '80s ethos, "Greed is Good" has metastasized, it surprises and depresses me. Imagine having so many millions, hundred of millions, even billions & caring about nothing except your own vanity.
I've been rewatching some older Pedro Almodovar films, and some of them have way too much masc energy for my taste these days. But I devoured Todo Sobre Mi Madre or All About My Mother (1999) tonight - a film that has SO MUCH to say about gender and only a little of it has dated.
