Max Dubler 🏳️🌈@maxdubler.com · 2w agoWhile imperfect and unevenly enforced, the Americans with Disabilities Act was a genuine civil rights milestone that has literally reshaped our society for the better. We should celebrate it loudly.
But mostly, a journey that should take half an hour ends up taking 10 years. Traffic.

A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. It happened when agrobusiness interests dramatically transformed the plains without regard for drought, and created vicious dust storms that choked whole families to death. That’s what I think of when I read about data centers.
