A little french trivia about Zelda OOT: France is the only country where the Duku nuts have another name, we call them "Mojo" nuts. Why? Because Deku sounds like "Des cou" and is close to "des couilles" meaning balls. So Nintendo didn't want us joking about "balls's nut" Voilà !

The quilting is finally done! Still have to trim, bind, & add a hanging sleeve I played around w/ some of the stitches on my machine. Decided on a zig-zag for the mountains & wavy lines for the sky I've had this project in my UFO/WIP pile for [redacted] Pattern is Cow Abstractions by Violet Craft

First family snap from new season’s Bake Off!! It starts on Channel 4 in September, though I haven’t got an exact date to give you yet. As soon as I know, I’ll tell you. (And I have no info on timings for other territories, I’m afraid.) I couldn’t be happier!

Photo of me suffused with love for my Bake Off family! From left to right: Paul Hollywood, Alison Hammond, yours truly, and Noel Fielding.

I think there is a lot of legitimate use for scanning months and months of documents and slack messages and notes, as long as you're still in charge of the direction of the relationship and the career in front of you. keithis.offprint.app/a/3mt2tnos4k...

i am pretty shocked at the lack of writing about eng management in the age of ai..... so i am writing

Outsourcing presence instead of making room for it. A generated "here's what to say to them" automates the one thing that was supposed to be yours, and people can feel the difference from the other side of the table even when they can't name it.

Generic career advice. A model will happily produce competent, well-structured guidance about a composite senior engineer, not the specific person in front of you with their specific fears and history. Plausible isn't the same as true, and "true about this human" is the entire point.

TBH it's most games that get huge announcements at shows and directs. It feels like most games are trying to be big without innovating on much or having character. Or they are remakes and remasters. I'm usually good at knowing a game isn't for me without wasting money/time on it (like Skyrim).

No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.

what's you "I did not care for the godfather" of games?" written above a screenshot from family guy of the family being drowned by sprinklers in their panic room.

Gotcha—let’s dig into that step by step. 1. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. You’re not just immobile—you’re immortal, and you feel only anguish. 2. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. That makes total sense—it’s a natural human impulse, and you’ve been through a lot.
