accidentally ordered tokusatsu instead of tonkatsu at this restaurant and now this guy won't stop doing stunts. The waiter can't even take him back because whenever he tries the guy strikes a pose and a bunch of explosions go off behind him

bostonians, give me suggestions for places to take tiny figurines of my OTP to photograph them going on a date. ideally not places that involve paid entry (though I want to see if I can make them look at the seals)

there was Talk of drawing trans men with big fat naturals... with a decade or more of doing exactly that, i hope my art— my stories/comics particularly— will be a cool treasure trove to stumble onto for a long time yet

Another old piece of art I've been revisiting is the reference sheet to the three main sharkfolk characters from the Waters Gone By story, which I'm experimenting with doing. I've changed a few lil details over time. I really like these shorks! 🦈✨ #shark #sharkfolk

Reference sheet illustration of my three sharkfolk characters: Aria Almarina, Tiago Tigrado, and Roberto Martiello.

Aria is a short zebra shark with yellow skin covered in purple spots. She wears blue dungarees over a white shirt with pink stripes and yellow sandals. She wears a bracelet with a star pendant on her arm.

Tiago is a medium-sized tiger shark with blue skin and blue and pink stripes. He wears a cap, a white shirt printed with an allegorical symbol of the sign of Cancer, black trousers and a red jacket with a yellow checkered pattern tied at the waist. He wears white trainers and a colourful costume jewellery necklace.

Roberto is a large hammerhead shark of tall stature, with pink skin tattooed with representations of stars, tides and a misty moon. He has a blue piercing below his eyes and wears a black shirt with a trilunar symbol. He wears white jeans torn at the knees, held up by a blue belt with a yellow buckle.

Reference vs Art I join in with "your reference can look entirely ridiculous and still give you great information". DAZ 3D + Blender. I'm a very strong believer in making your own references. Whether it's selfies, 3D software, traditional sculpting, friends posing... there are so many great ways

Reference vs Art I like to post this occasionally as part of my "you can learn 3D really really badly and it can still be useful for your process" agenda

The Neopets team posted an update just after midnight terminating all licensing agreements with Geekify, directing backers of the TTRPG to Geekify for refunds, and leaving the door open to someone else making them a licensed TTRPG someday. bsky.app/profile/neop...

We have an update for the community. The full statement can be read below: ⭐ https://portal.neopets.com/news/march10-geekify-ttrpg While we encourage constructive feedback and discussions, please remember to be respectful in the comments.

March 2 2001, Pokemon Puzzle League debuted on the N64 in PAL territories! It's the only console Pokemon game to release exclusively to the West market, and not Japan! Pokemon Play It! (PC) and Pokemon Rumble Rush (Mobile) also never hit Japan, but very few played them in any region!

I can't imagine how crazy it was for little Japanese kids back in 2000 to have their new superhero show introduced the main guy by having him monologue about being scared of dying as a child, leaning over and looking right at the child-height camera, and basically saying "things will be okay."

Screenshot from episode 1 of Kamen Rider Kuuga. The protagonist is leaning down to look at the viewer, withh subtitles reading "he just smiled and said it would be fine."

you know when someone shares a serious story, and then you share a similar story because you're trying to connect with them, but then they interpret it as you trying to get sympathy from them and get mad at you.
