PSA for anyone falling for the clickbait headline: 1. it'll only affect PUBLIC /DISCOVERABLE/ servers. Not just normal public servers 2. it'll only affect NEW messages, not old ones 3. it's trying to address "everything lives in discord and not in public forum/wikis"
blocking just isn’t a super serious thing, it doesn’t have to be saved for a massive transgression “I didn’t enjoy interacting with this person on the internet” is a perfectly good reason now you won’t find each other annoying anymore, everyone wins
