We just won a court order stopping the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. while our lawsuit continues. We’re going to keep fighting to keep costs down for consumers, protect jobs, and stop this illegal merger.

I know people seem to be cheering Mitch McConnell dying slowly and miserably in a hospital, but that's just wrong. Think of all the lives he touched. He should have been forced to die slowly and miserably on the street like them.
Maine Democrats pushing Platner out is a new great excuse for people who've never voted once in their life to claim they "just can't vote for Democrats anymore".
Platner's strongest support seems to have come EXCLUSIVELY from Democrats who never left Twitter.
Dave Weigel@daveweigel.bsky.social · 4w agoWhen the rubble clears, there are so many people who spent time and money helping Platner, believing that he was a once in a lifetime talent. People who quit their jobs to work for him; spent cold weekends knocking doors for him; told their friends to check him out. He really humiliated them.
I wonder if history will manage to grapple with the "voter problem" in a way we are too embarrassed to do right now. When we open the history book, will it say that Johnson or May or Trump or Starmer took the office, or will it say that the people gave them the office?

I'm not sure "he's not even a real bin" is the winning electoral argument some of Count Binface's opponents imagine. I think the voters of Clacton had pretty much already realised that on their own.
Except now the damage is done. The pod-bros have already convinced me that the only viable candidates are absolute pieces of shit that I can relate to.
