I read The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect. It was interesting, but deeply flawed. I appreciated the relatively clear view it expressed on post-immortality ethics, but i feel the emphasis on authenticity as a prerequisite for meaning is not well developed.
This is why i make drone and noise. I want the musical equivalent to warning coloration. I don't want it to feel good. I don't want people to be impressed by my (nonexistent) skill. I want what i do to be inimical to the bullshit i was brought up in as a musician.
Every person being fascist and puritanical about sex needs to be relentlessly berated and ridiculed. It is anti-human behavior that actively contributes to the corporate sanitization of the internet, forced ID verification laws, criminalization of queer people, and women being stripped of autonomy.
