Two weeks ago, #SCOTUS eviscerated #VotingRightsAct protections. With that green light, states are moving quickly to set the clock back 60 years on civil rights. We must be loud, persistent, and unwavering in protecting the hard-fought rights that strengthen our #democracy.

AB 1988, our sponsored bill authored by @asmgailpellerin.bsky.social continues to move forward. The bill passed out of the Assembly Committee on Privacy and Consumer Protection yesterday with a unanimous 14-0 vote and now heads to the Assembly Health Committee next week!
