Rejecting LLMs isn’t about rejecting their utility or failing to be aware of their power —it’s about rejecting that political project; born out of an awareness that any use of these machines at all promulgates that project and assembles me into adjacent responsibility for its commission.

LLMs don't need to be as terrible for the environment as they are. They didn't need to be packaged as chatbots, designed to be addictive, and rolled out with no safety protocols. They didn't need to be marketed as a replacement for human labour. These were all choices made by their American owners.

A very serious Rural Politico once told me "Dems have to go to farmer meetings! We gotta be where the people are!" I was in fact in a farmer meeting at that very moment! So I live-texted him the meeting. They were complaining that they want indentured workers that they don't have to pay or feed.

Burnham may be popular but he doesn’t care about the people. He’s made it clear, at minimum, that trans people, immigrants, and disabled people can all fuck off and die as far as he’s concerned.

It’s the old switcheroo, as the Americans say. Starmer couldn’t get away with gutting benefits for the sick and disabled so they switched him out and repackaged the same cruel policy but delivered by Burnham.

Burnham is a danger to sick and disabled claimants. With these likely cuts he's proven he's worse than a Tory. Andy is a foul liar and his cuts will be his legacy, because he'll be remembered for the harm he causes to weak and vulnerable social security recipients

Labour has nothing in the tank except more punishments. Exactly like the Tories and Reform they believe the UK needs to be beaten into submission. It will never, ever stop so long as they have power.
