That account that reposts messages that people were blocked over is a terrible addition to the bluesky ecosystem because it turns what should be a personal user safety interaction into a public spectacle (made possible only b/c blocks are public, which is also an anti-safety design).
An interesting thing about this is there is a real rift between far-right fascism and technofascism. This article describes long-time fascists who are rallying against data centers, and meanwhile I’ve met plenty of committed antifascists now throwing in with tech b/c they feel empowered by LLMs.

It's not actually a reactionary position to not believe the people who have spent decades demonstrating that they will lie about anything in order to privilege their own well-being over that of the rest of society
it's interesting that not trusting big tech companies to be true to their word is painted as "defector" behavior here. ought we default to believing that the tech industry writ large has our best interests at heart? that honest people rise to the top there? why would a person believe that?

They have staked out a purely reactionary position. Negotiation is useless. Just reject everything by default. They're playing this as Always Defect.
