it feels like I see a video of people getting into physical fights pretty much every day online now. I wonder how much of this is that people just have cameras in their pockets now so they can record something that’s always been happening, vs. people really are becoming more antisocial in general

one thing about being on various social media sites is that the human brain was not meant to be presented with a new discourse topic that you hadn’t previously thought about, and you now must consciously ignore or dedicate critical thought to, several times a day
