One thing I've noticed about younger tiktok "furries" is that they simply don't actually use furry gallery sites. You *could* draw the conclusion that maybe the concept of gallery sites is antiquated to younger furries, but I don't think that's it. There are *plenty* of younger users on those sites

I think that the only conclusion one can really draw is that there is a clique of tiktok 20somethings that adopted furry culture as an aesthetic to appropriate when they were stuck online in the pandemic, but don't actually have any roots or any interest in the actual fandom and its spaces at large.

This is why you see these folks on normie social media platforms only, why they have a strong lack of understanding of furry history, culture, and kink positivity, and why they feel so disjointed to the rest of the community.
