Apparently the model is already on ripperstore with the protections stripped out. Excellent system, very effective. *Definitely* didn’t predict that happening immediately. It’s just another case of annoying and putting a hassle on users who follow the rules anyway.

So that new Druffle avatar uses a DRM .EXE FILE to download the avatar files?!? But…why? What is the point? How exactly does that do anything except create an obnoxious extra step to get your files, and be SKETCHY AF? (Note: Vivi was against it and will NEVER use it for her own avatar releases.)

Motherfucker, I have it on pretty good authority that there are tens of thousands of freshly-unemployed game designers, QA testers and developers out there who would love a job, and you can't find any? Maybe it's just because folks keep choosing "have no job at all" over "have Notch as your boss".

I'm gonna give a heads up to anyone who sees this or similar posts deer.social hasn't been maintained for over a year (github.com/a-viv-a/deer...) I personally use and highly recommend witchsky.app if you are looking for a social-app fork

If anyone is getting smacked with this - just use deer.social or another alternate client. Bsky is just an AT Protocol Client, and your Bsky account is an AT Protocol account - you can use your same Bsky account thru another AT Protocol Client, no migration or loss necessary. Could not be easier.

It seems people are often afraid of liking their own art work due to the worry of being perceived as egotistical or conceited, but you can still love your work and have a huge driving force behind that acting as a love for learning and improving. You can be proud and seek joy while you grow.

I identify as queer. I also use it as shorthand for the community, but if someone doesn’t want to be under that umbrella, that’s fair. The moment you tell me I can’t use the word and shouldn’t identify that way, however, you lose any trust I might have for you.
