An adult with a perpetual wish to perseverate his childhood, wants you to call him "Tommy" and "Coach", is trying to stoke fear over people who aren't white, thinks it's a good idea to build a 30 ft wall around Alabama (that's a 1,044 mile perimeter and 165,369,600 square feet). Hmmm.

Tuberville: "If we don't straighten out this country's voting and immigration system, we're not gonna make it. It's gonna be over. I'm gonna go back to Alabama and hey, we might build a 30-foot wall around our state."

We should protect all those who call Texas home, including wildlife. When data centers spread into sensitive habitats, Texans risk losing the land, water, and wildlife that make our state plentiful. It's time to put our families and our Texas heritage ahead of Wall Street's AI ambitions.

Aerial photo of a large data center complex beside electrical infrastructure and open fields, with suburban homes visible in the distance. An inset circle shows two burrowing owls, highlighting wildlife concerns. Large white text over the image reads, "NEWS: DATA CENTER GROWTH RAISES NEW CONCERNS FOR WILDLIFE," with a small bird logo in the bottom-right corner.

Texas Gubernatorial Candidate Gina Hinojosa visited the Lorenzo Salgado Araujo memorial in Houston's East End alongside Ronaldo Salgado today. The memorial has a sign that reads, "Somos Lorenzo," or "We are Lorenzo," in Spanish.

A republican senator said there’s nothing they can do, in their majority, to reign in the President. Congress is the most powerful branch of the three, what a fucking cowardly thing to say. Certainly not alpha male speak.

Yes but even more than that? Clear opposition to the genocide PLUS open condemnation of ICE and all White House and Republican policies. Entire repudiation of the centrist project of making nice with any of them. Clear, straightforward NO.

I know we are chalking the success of some leftist candidates almost entirely to the DSA. However, it seems like the more common theme is that these are candidates with organizing experience?

Abdul El-Sayed has won the Michigan Democratic Senate Primary — beating back $30 million in AIPAC spending and endorsements from top Democrats. So the next question is: Can El-Sayed beat Republican former Rep. Mike Rogers?

Last year’s Republican budget megabill is devastating rural Virginia. Twelve clinics and hospital services have closed since it passed all in rural communities that can least afford to lose care. This is what happens when your rural health care is gutted to fund tax cuts for billionaires.

Donald Trump told reporters he feels "badly" for Max Miller, a Republican congressman accused of abusing his wife, and hopes Miller can "work it out." The only thing less surprising than a Republican politician abusing his wife is Donald Trump empathizing with the abuser.

When he was Chair of the House Intelligence Committee, Mike Rogers (the Republican candidate for Senate in Michigan) publicly took the position that "you can't have your privacy violated if you don't know your privacy is violated." Colbert had some fun with that: crooksandliars.com/cltv/2013/10...

MAGA NC congressman Chuck Edwards announces that "after much prayer" he has decided to not seek reelection... Of course this has nothing to do with the likelihood that an ethics investigation over sexual harassment claims lodged by two female staffers was coming. Can't comb over that, Chuck. 😎

I’m withdrawing from my reelection to spend more time with my old ugly hag of a wife instead of those young beautiful staffers, who definitely will think I’m super hot if I keep propositioning them, because I don’t want to give my wife half my 💩 or pay alimony. ~ Chuck Edwards (NC-R)

After talking to a young writer last night, I want to remind you all that it's okay to write without an assignment or goal. Write to explore a new technique, get an idea out of your head, or as emotional exhalation. Write for the raw joy of it. For you alone. It doesn't need to go into a portfolio

North Carolina MAGAT 'likes' his young female aides far too much, and he's a creepy old combover douchebag being censured by his own party. If he't drawn the ire of GOP it's likely they are just circling the wagons in hopes of another MAGAT taking the seat.

House Republican leaders are privately working to convince Rep. Chuck Edwards to abandon his reelection bid for a competitive North Carolina seat after an ethics report dropped against the congressman...
