I’m a social worker focused on workforce development, employment, labor markets and job quality and equity. Mom of teenage twins. Old movies, film podcasts, tv and pop culture are my thing. Detroit will always be home.

By itself, this is both impeachable and cause for radical reform. The GOP Supreme Court does not even bother to explain the majority of its decisions. It's apparently too much to ask they at least barf up dishonest, unprincipled, poorly-reasoned excuses for their arbitrary exercise of power.

I just don’t understand how people think even keeping the strait open is going to work when Netanyahu is not going to stop in Lebanon. Trump can’t control him.

Seeing a lot of posts lately on the benevolence of robber barons. It has to stop. They were terrible, screwed their workers, cheated to build their businesses and never paid enough taxes. The fix was unions, more taxes on the rich, gov’t regulations and worker protections not their charity.

NYT photographer Alex Kent got a picture of the construction workers at the Kennedy Center with the rainbow appearing behind them last night. “After a night of storms, both political and meteorological, workers began removing President Trump’s name from the white marble facade”

The solution isn't a ballroom. Here are some ideas: 1. Stop the MAGA propaganda machine that blurs the line between fact and fiction 2. Stop the right wing extremist violent rhetoric, including from the president 3. Common sense gun laws 4. Break up the corporate media conglomerates 1/

You know, instead of debating how we should go overboard to protect the one man who's the most hated provocateur of malevolent violence in the entire nation, we could just remove him from office through the normal procedures.
