With each drop over the last several hours El-Sayed has been gaining on Stevens in Wayne County. He now trails by just 7%, earlier in the night he was losing by 12%. #MISen
People were hoping for a quick decision tonight. That hasn't happened. I know from 2024 that some counties won't report until the wee hours of the morning. But the New York Times is projecting that the ~3% spread we see between El-Sayed and Stevens is likely to stay in that range.

Which would translate into an El-Sayed victory. Stevens needs to get more out of there to offset losing so badly in the rest of Michigan.

I can't see not giving a bit more to blue states in a future admin to somewhat balance the books. The damage has, however, been done. Science can't just be turned back on with a Presidential election. It might take a generation before it's all fixed.
Where are the other blue states (CA excepted)?

The tricky part for a future Dem Admin is going to be finding a way to divest the US govt from these companies without tanking their stock price & hurting them over the long term. What Trump is doing is a fundamental tenet of communism while he distracts by claiming Dems are.
