Today is Roma Holocaust Memorial Day. Around 500,000 Roma & Sinti people were killed by the Nazis in the Porajmos. There was no state given to them after the war. Commemoration of their suffering is often diminished or forgotten. Racism towards Romani people across Europe remains acceptable.

Working in CAMHS, it was startling. For the first two months, many young people who'd been struggling at school were doing great - no daily battle to go in, no stress about attendance or appointments. That was the brief honeymoon; then we had an uptick in concerns about kids who were suddenly...

Picked up Xan from the cattery... They provided us with two printed portraits of him they'd taken of him while he was with them. I don't know if that's normal for catteries but damn, I'm here for it! 😍
