I never met Marie but I remember this and other pictures from Basic Income Week activities and I know how much work has been done, such consistent and tireless work for just years, decades really, to make a basic income happen in PEI. Thank you and rest well Marie. 🙏

Extraordinary and beloved, Marie Burge is at peace. She leaves an indomitable legacy of social justice work and activism in this province.
