JKR explicitly said she considers anything Potter-related, even fan-made, endorsement of her politics. And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.

jesus this hank green ai drama is so sad and bleak, the dude is using AI in extremely sane and safe and reasonable ways, and so many of his fans are just on a purity crusade over it here’s a recent reddit post and hank’s reply

The post reads: "Something that Hank has omitted from his response to the critique of his AI use, and that many others do not seem to be aware of, is that on the initial upload of last week's Delete This podcast he admitted to using an LLM to merge two chapters of his book together. Regardless of his use of it to "research," using it in a way that directly affects his writing is extremely concerning to me and makes me much less likely to read his book. It is very difficult to use LLMs for editing and it not affecting the writing, as the outputs and suggestions will be in "AI voice." It is even more concerning to me that he chose to cut this detail out of the final upload." it’s worse than i thought… Hank’s audience merely heard him use a phrase in a video they thought *sounded* like AI, but it was just him adlibbing after viewers pointed it out, he clarified it wasn’t an AI line, but explained that he does use AI in the research process! then the pile on begin bleak

Sometimes I think on how everyone else grew up with Casey Kasem hosting the American Too 40. But not in central Wisconsin. Our pop radio station chose Rick Dees. Why, I’ll never know. But they made thousands miss out on a cultural institution.

Got recommended this video and found out later "Ryan Homes" is the name of a company but I genuinely thought it was the name of a guy who kept building shoddy homes like a mischievous gnome.
