every single nintendo direct is written like its advertising the first video game ever made. in this “game of strategy” you can choose to attack with swords [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a sword] or with spells [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a spell]

word of warning for people interested in checking out ff14 on switch 2: if you buy any version of the game, you can't do the free trial. you'll need to buy a subscription to play. you HAVE TO download the free trial version if you want to play up to level 80 for free.

hard to encapsulate the culture of bluesky but i think it's the fact that this extremely boring post i put up with zero forethought got 2.7K faves and still gets periodic responses from total strangers saying shit like "i actually thought this movie sucked" oh really? huh ok that's good to know.

Yeah spider-man’s strength is in licensing, he’s always been more valuable than the entire MCU and was only eclipsed by Batman In 2016 — haven’t checked the most recent numbers but I think he’s back on top again. He’s basically a Disney princess, an IP perpetual motion machine

Spider-Man movies were breaking box office records well before the MCU existed. They are a cinema phenomenon onto themselves, because Spider-Man is a singularly resonant and relatable character.

i really don't understand the logic behind the selfie camera on the inside screen with this thing. in general, do we need selfie cameras on the inside screen of ANY foldable for ANY reason? it feels like the kind of thing people would be up in arms about losing, but how important it is really?
