Ive seen a few lists of leaked assets and it seems like a big archive was just made public given the age of the shows involved. Honestly, overall, this just seems like a high-res boon for lost media archivists and amateur animators who can play with professional rigs mashable.com/entertainmen...

A massive Cartoon Network leak exposes decades of behind-the-scenes animation files

Storyboards, model sheets, and puppet rigs from "Powerpuff Girls," "Gumball," and more hit online as Skydance absorbs Warner Bros.

Uh oh, did someone’s website and personal account experience a big drop in activity after Ukraine hit a Russian data center?

Found out the original post that showed off the Alphinaud swimming scene in the 4 available dubs has since been deleted, so I recorded it all again myself

“If you don’t like public executions just don’t watch it” says the crowd trying to ban drag shows and books

Urge your reps to ban Surveillance Pricing and boycott any business that uses it. If it’s allowed to take root, you will be robbed for the rest of your lives.

(1/11) If you live in NY, you’ve probably started seeing a new warning: “THIS PRICE WAS SET BY AN ALGORITHM USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA.” This mandatory disclosure went into effect late last year, and it’s the first attempt by a US state to grapple with a new generation of surveillance pricing.

To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center. www.gadgetreview.com/one-of-ameri...

One of America’s Last Chestnut Groves Is About to Be Destroyed for a Data Center

A rare 200-tree American chestnut grove in West Virginia may be cleared for data-center development, but the project denies the site is on its land.

This is the best I've ever felt after taking the covid boosters. Usually I feel like death despite antihistamines, and overdoing it last time gave me the "Athena birthed from Zeus's forehead headache" for a week straight Notes for myself for next time:

*so important*: if you’re voting by mail, assume the USPS will delay because it’s its policy. You can: —put it in drop box —go to counter to watch them postmark in front of you —if you’re dropping it in a mailbox, do it VERY EARLY.

Bolts@boltsmag.org · 6d ago

Many states require that mail ballots be postmarked by a specific day. But due to a USPS rule announced late last year, voters may need to put their ballot in a mailbox days in advance.

Someone told me that we're in the "anything's possible" era of electoral politics right now. If someone wants to shoot their shot, they should. 👀

Howdy folks! Due to a server error, you may notice a... few reminder emails came to you regarding your Hotel Lottery entries. Our server just really, really wanted to make sure you got those reminders. 😭 We're handling the problem now, but there may be a delay in email communications until tomorrow.

Ok. Has #Magfest been hacked or have an issue with their email server? I'm getting emails every 15 minutes from them now about the hotel lottery

This should be so obvious that it doesn’t need to be said, but given what kind of weekend it’s been on here, apparently it does: If you don’t want old rapists running the world, in office, in the board room, making decisions for all of us get comfortable with “ruining” young rapists’ lives
