waiting eagerly for five weeks for insurance to confirm that *checks notes* my eyes are so bad that correction is medically necessary and i don’t have to pay $500 for a year of vision. then finding out the eye doctor billed it like i have normal eyes and having to wait another five weeks 🙂↕️

i’ll say this, it’s never gone well for a man who approaches me from the opposite direction on the sidewalk and thinks it’s a fine idea to yell or point at me where he’d like me to move to clear a path for him
love how this type of behavior (fraud) also ends up contributing to consumers being skeptical and even mean to the lower-level employees who are doomed to be the actually real human in the loop i’ve personally worked a job where people questioned whether or not i am a real emily
