(he/him) Nerdfighter, TBFighter, musician, pile of baked beans in the shape of a Furby. Tell Gilead Sciences to make lenacapavir accessible, #2Shots$40Everywhere. Help us #EndTB by visiting https://tbfighters.org. ICE delenda est.

Welcome to 2 Shots Tuesday! TBFighters are taking this Tuesday and every Tuesday to put pressure on Gilead. We want you to join us in calling, emailing, writing letters, making memes, and many more ways to encourage Gilead to sell Lenacapavir for $40 to our friends at MSF and beyond.

A grey background with drawings of 2 medical injections and a small bottle under them and a TBFighters' logo at the bottom. With the following text: 2 Shots Tuesday Tell Gilead #2Shots$40Everywhere in 2 ways every Tuesday! Take action: email, call, fax, and more!

🎥 The full picture: Imagine if a critical and effective HIV prevention medicine (lenacapavir) was more widely available. But instead, Gilead has priced the medicine out of reach, restricts its supply to certain countries, and refused to sell it directly to MSF. So people called it out.

Image featuring a large exhibition booth with signage displaying "Gilead" and "HIV" prominently. The top text in the graphic above the image reads, "35 mm: Pharmaceutical corporation makes a critical HIV prevention medicine." The bottom image shows the booth surrounded by a crowd, with the graphic text above the image reading, "IMAX 70mm: Pharmaceutical corporation gets called out by the people for pricing it out of reach. Gilead, let's talk."

I got these erasers from artist & craftsman ~a year ago that were little animals in pixel art form, like this frog. I got a snail & a cat. I lost the cat last night, idk what happened to snail. I went looking for them online & can't find them anywhere. Real hello darkness my old friend moment.

@gilead.com "justifies excluding countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Argentina by classifying them as 'upper middle-income countries'. HIV advocates dispute this justification, partly because people in these countries played a key role in clinical trials to test these medications."

We now have the technology to eliminate HIV and AIDS. But cuts to USAID mean it’s not gonna happen any time soon. My latest. www.theguardian.com/society/2026...

We straight up do not make isoniazid in the United States. So a tariff is literally just making it more expensive for Americans, in the hopes that perhaps domestic producers will come back because they can charge us double.

There is already a massive access issue for certain Tuberculosis medications (currently isoniazid, previously moxifloxacin) in the US that is being exacerbated by imported ingredient pricing. This is almost certainly going to make that worse.
