Spidey did $168M US dollars on opening day! I just don’t understand the basis for these types of numbers. I fully understood Endgame doing berserk, but this is just the fourth film in an already successful franchise. Insane things happening at the box office (positive)

CC would be sleep walking into a triple double if she didn’t have four easy assists sold in that half. Could still get there though.

I know Mahershala Ali would have given us an incredible take on Blade and it absolutely sucks he was never given that chance.

Tom and Zendaya are about to have such an insane box office return this year. The Odyssey is going crazy, but Spidey 4 is going to do numbers that equal Endgame and then you add in Dune: Part 3/Doomsday (it'll count for Tom and Z) it should be the highest box office return for an actor all-time.

I saw the full (?) trailer for The Social Reckoning before Spidey 4, and I'm just not feeling the vibes. I think Jeremy Strong is phenomenal, but he really does seem completely miscast as Zuck. We'll see though.

Pretty, pretty, pretty good. I almost bumped it up half a star, but will reserve that decision for next viewing on a premium screen. Highly recommend. #letterboxd #filmsky
