the City of Boise's increasingly aggressive campaign against the state's repeated attempt to ban pride flags flown by cities is extremely funny
i have never seen a higher density of pride flags than in Boise

guys we’re not getting blutah anytime soon, stop this foolishness
This is incredible content, it's the same "it's cheaper if you cook / I'm too tired from work to cook" discourse from BlueSky except literally no one posting actually cooks or has a real job, so nobody has any standing to argue either side and yet they're far nastier about it.
for reasons that only make sense if you're insane, a TPUSA kid complaining about burrito costs on xitter has the GOP's biggest divas going for each other's throats.
One of the first major groups to start spending on J6 supporters, now they seem like they'll spend $30 million trying to keep the Senate in Republican hands
AIPAC: "Our members remain determined to ensure that voters reject Dr. El-Sayed and his radical anti-Israel agenda in November."
the scariest part of this is the idea of a burrito made at home by a white republican, like some kind of racist sloppy joe on a wet albertson’s tortilla

Everybody falling over themselves to say a convicted criminal nazi can change is it?
people in politics equating being out of politics with death is the source of much derangement
you can, in fact, believe people are redeemable and should with a level of effort be allowed back into public life. they do not have to do so in the form of running for office when they were a nazi 15 minutes ago
Incorrect, Zack. In-fucking-correct.
The infuriating thing about this argument to me is that there is an objectively true argument that serves the exact same rhetorical purpose, which is that per unit cost for virtually all consumer items fall with quantity. Boots theory doesn't need to be true, move on. The poverty tax is Dollar Tree.
the “boots theory” is the complete opposite of my experience as a Boots Guy as far as durability goes tbh
The problem with this idea is that it requires that quality/durability of a product grow exponentially with price. E.g.: if you pay $5 for a whatsit, it lasts a year. If you pay $10 for a whatsit, it lasts 3 years. This is an absolute mathematical requirement for the theory to make sense.
convincing michiganders to get behind aes because his name is abdul THE sayed and it’ll piss off ohioans
the median midwestern voter loves two things: electing republicans and thwarting republican policy goals via ballot referendum
without knowing any details i assume this is gonna be another hilarious episode of the saudis lighting unfathomable amounts of money on fire. it’s like a whole family of mark zuckerbergs
EA officially goes private tonight, meaning: - EA will no longer trade on the NASDAQ for the first time in 36 years - All stockholders of EA (including many employees) will receive $210/share - EA will take on $18 billion (!) in debt, putting it on the hook to pay ~$1.8 billion/year in interest
i support [$democratic_candidate] for [$public_office] and believe that their politics is a perfect fit for [$state]. I would drag my [$genital] over [$harmful_object_or_substance] to vote for [$democratic_candidate] this fall.
I support the winner of the Michigan Democratic primary as the future senator from Michigan.

Chipotle Mexican Grill said that it had removed jalapeños from some of its restaurants, after determining the peppers could potentially be tied to a salmonella outbreak that public health officials are investigating. https://cnn.it/4bu5ptO
“How’s the economy going?” you might ask. Well, ribeye is $20/pound and has anti-shoplifting tags on it. So it’s guess everything is great.
