3 Millionen Datenpunkte untersucht. 2.500 Belege gefunden. 13 Monate geprüft. 1 Ergebnis. Die AfD ist verfassungswidrig. Ein zulässiger Verbotsantrag beim Bundesverfassungsgericht hätte wahrscheinlich Erfolg. Das ist das Ergebnis unseres heute veröffentlichten Gutachtens. 🧵
I'm so tired of being expected to read things that no one has bothered to write.
GitHub leaked webhook secrets for many repos for *months* in 2025 and again in January 2026. Then only notified some of us today, in April. But hey at least Copilot is integrated into GitHub and Windows 11! 🤡 show
Sometimes I hate that big orgs are so scared of breaking changes... no matter whether internal or external system... Like, why not break some processes that are easily solvable in a better way? Why make everyones life more miserable?
I generally think that the @kotlinlang.org stdlib is high quality and well thought out but it also has a few really nasty bits. Why can I call `toString` on a nullable receiver? And why does it return the string "null" in case the receiver is null?
TIL: epub files WILL get altered to another format when you load them into Apple Books... In case you want to get the original files back, someone on Reddit actually made a script to revert the changes! www.reddit.com/r/Calibre/co...

@jetbrains.com how to manage configuration of IntelliJ (and derivates) using a dotfile manager? Which files/ folders are useful to version? Is it just the `Config directory` from the screenshot? Something else entirely? I know of the `Backup & Sync` plugin but I'd like to have a git repo to manage;)
I will never allow myself to write an xsd schema by hand again!
Your turn: "I will never force myself to write openapi manually in yaml or json format again"
show this to anyone else you know who also assumed DHH was just a normal conservative dude rather than a raging white supremacist lunatic
DHH Is Way Worse Than I Thought | jakelazaroff.com
DHH's politics are not normal. Maybe they used to be, I don't know, but as of right now the dude is_way outside of what most people would consider moral or acceptable.

The most annoying thing so far, when trying to build a homelab using kubernetes: networking! People recommended to use cilium and whenever I think it’s working I find the next issue in my setup which causes my setup to not work in its entirety! I‘m actively thinking about just using flannel…
I never used Ruby, but stuff like this scares me, as a developer, about who I can trust
Hey, #ruby folks! I've been one of the #RubyGems maintainers for the last decade. Ruby Central has forcefully taken control of the RubyGems organization on GitHub, the `rubygems-update` and `bundler` gems on rubygems[.]org, and more. You can read the details here: pup-e.com/goodbye-ruby...
Honestly, looking at all the supply chain attacks right now, can we talk about not using JS for LITERALLY EVERYTHING?! www.wiz.io/blog/shai-hu...

On behalf of Piotr It is with great sadness that I inform of the passing of Piotr on July 29th, after his long fight with cancer. He was a great man, great engineer, a wonderful husband, father, brother and son. A dedicated Ruby community member. He will be sincerely missed Piotr's wife, Monika

I Am An AI Hater
I am an AI hater. This is considered rude, but I do not care, because I am a hater.

We asked Bart from IT if he has anything wise to say to the internet critters, and he said "I have nothing wise to announce at this moment" and went straight back to work. Truly the Socrates of IT. Does anyone have anything to say back to Bart?
I scored 21/21 on e-mail.wtf and all I got was this lousy text to share on social media. Looks like my >2 years working with mails did SOMETHING...

OH WAIT WHAT THE DUB DUB KEYNOTE SLEPT ON THE MOST FUCKING GAME CHANGING FEATURE
I love it when companies, unlike atlassian or gitlab, actually improve their products in their new version! Today: A noodle producing company actually using usable stickers to close the packaging again!
Claude can't view full bluesky pages because they rely on javascript to render. So I built a little proxy to prerender pages so claude can see them! Just replace "bsky" with "hbsky" in the URL (The h is for html). Before vs after:
If AI impacts logic, reasoning, and critical thinking of humans, then to become smarter it just has to stay at its current pace and allow us to adopt it more. We'll just become dumb ourselves.
IT'S HAPPENING, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! There are initial commits for an official Kotlin LSP (github.com/Kotlin/kotli...)! THANK YOU, @jetbrains.com and @kotlinlang.org! Make it happen and make it great! This will help Kotlin in the long term!
