It’s completely exhausting and disheartening that every freaking thing now has to be politicized by bad faith actors. There are no men clamoring to play in the WNBA. Thats just a stupid premise for a question. I’m just so disillusioned by it all.

if an elite lobbying effort can convince you that you have to ban trans people from sports to survive in politics you straightforwardly do not have it in you to pass electoral reform, or stand up to the fossil fuel lobby, or do any of the difficult things that have to be done

If your loudest opinion on women’s sports is about preventing transgender people from participating, you aren’t engaged in women’s sports enough to know what “protecting” them would actually mean or count as a “good-faith person who cares”. That’s not care, it’s ignorance.

this is outrageous behavior, and the referee’s entire read of this sequence — from the two intentional kicks from behind (always a yellow) to deliberately standing on a player’s hair and refusing to move — tells me that PRO isn’t doing any bias training whatsoever
