Note as Trump and Republicans implement their midterm strategy, they’ll refer to “radical”, “leftist”, “communist”, “extreme”, and “crazy” Democratic policies. What they WON’T ever do is say what those policies really are. They’ll use scary labels because their people will like the policies, too.

New England bioscience guy. The scientific method is my religion. We’re all in this together. No DMs. "God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can change, and the Wisdom to know the difference."
Trump’s corruption runs on Republican cooperation. Every senator who confirms his cronies and every House member who blocks accountability helps keep the machine running. Flip Congress in November, and suddenly Trump faces something he has avoided for far too long: consequences.
Cornyn: "There's nothing we could do to rein in the president" Think about that America... A sitting US Senator acting like he cannot do a fkng thing about Trump, while he continues to vote to do nothing about Trump.
Once again. It's simple! The only reason that the Epstein files have not been published is that they incriminate the president of the United States, and those others who are in a position to stop them from being released.
Congress: “We’ve tried nothing and we’re fresh out of ideas.”
Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a “no” vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by “yes”? Can’t get any more craven than this.
Cornyn justifies his support for Blanche: "That's one of those things that can't be remedied by a 'no' vote"
Ok, so who’s talked to Mitch today? Anybody? Anybody?
Phang: "Capital One said, 'We don't want the business anymore of the 45th president of the United States, his businesses, his failed sons, and his revocable trust.' So you can imagine -- I am just hypothesizing... but it suggests whatever Capital One uncovered was pretty bad. Makes you wonder..."
Democracy dies with creeping corruption and the erosion of norms and institutions. Historical fact Once lost, you can’t vote it back. Once lost, you must go through hell (WWII) to get it back. We are currently experiencing rampant corruption, norms gone, and institutions are teetering. Observation
Snifff… snifff… ah, the smell of desperation.
The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to protect the only true minority - the individual. It limits the governments power to harm the individual. The whole constitution is designed to limit the governments power.
We didn’t ask you to release a diary. We demanded you release the Epstein files. We even passed a law.
The thing truly showing the systemic rot is not that a selfish, narcissistic, egomaniacal dictator wannabe would resurrect the Nazi playbook to dictatorial power, it’s that so many elected officials and SCOTUS would clear the way for it.
See, the system works. Now we need to envision and design a new system that works- for us, this time.
Looks like Big Oil’s decision to agree to Donald’s request for a billion dollar bribe is paying off handsomely.
Trump sued Capital One to prove they closed his accounts over politics. The bank’s answer, filed Friday: it was the anti-money-laundering desk. Months of review. Three hundred accounts. He pulled that thread himself.
True enough. They have never faced a president like Trump. He was the only one dumb enough to take action with no goals, strategy, plan or intelligence. Any fool can take action. Only the greatest fools take action with zero understanding what the outcome or consequences will be.
🤡 “The evidence is clear”. If only I could be the one trying this case, it would be a slam dunk, Mr President. But as it is, that’s not my job unfortunately, but I’m happy to throw anyone under the bus that you want to blame, Mr President. I will gladly prostrate myself and lie for you, my lord.
Instead of grilling Dr. Fauci this week the WH should address the REAL ISSUE- The rampant misinformation that led to Covid deaths. This is an old article but it is still relevant today. 🧪 www.kff.org/health-infor...
