Note as Trump and Republicans implement their midterm strategy, they’ll refer to “radical”, “leftist”, “communist”, “extreme”, and “crazy” Democratic policies. What they WON’T ever do is say what those policies really are. They’ll use scary labels because their people will like the policies, too.
Trump’s corruption runs on Republican cooperation. Every senator who confirms his cronies and every House member who blocks accountability helps keep the machine running. Flip Congress in November, and suddenly Trump faces something he has avoided for far too long: consequences.

Once again. It's simple! The only reason that the Epstein files have not been published is that they incriminate the president of the United States, and those others who are in a position to stop them from being released.

Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a “no” vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by “yes”? Can’t get any more craven than this.

The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to protect the only true minority - the individual. It limits the governments power to harm the individual. The whole constitution is designed to limit the governments power.
We didn’t ask you to release a diary. We demanded you release the Epstein files. We even passed a law.
The thing truly showing the systemic rot is not that a selfish, narcissistic, egomaniacal dictator wannabe would resurrect the Nazi playbook to dictatorial power, it’s that so many elected officials and SCOTUS would clear the way for it.
See, the system works. Now we need to envision and design a new system that works- for us, this time.

Trump sued Capital One to prove they closed his accounts over politics. The bank’s answer, filed Friday: it was the anti-money-laundering desk. Months of review. Three hundred accounts. He pulled that thread himself.
True enough. They have never faced a president like Trump. He was the only one dumb enough to take action with no goals, strategy, plan or intelligence. Any fool can take action. Only the greatest fools take action with zero understanding what the outcome or consequences will be.
