I think it’s clear he had to be publicly confronted with this question. He’d have preferred to play pretend for longer and only acted when his daughter’s alleged abuse impacted *him* personally.

Just a few days ago, Senator Moreno was asked if his daughter's alleged abuser should drop out, and he responded, "I don't know."

Yep. I blame the mainstream media for their coverage — but the lack of outrage from elected Democrats has been political malpractice. They share responsibility for normalizing Trump’s corruption.

But we have to get over the belief that this stuff just happens. Not with this media. Not with this president. If no one is on TV (or X) screaming about it, the press assumes it's not really a story.
