Agree. I had the same thought yesterday. Currently there's less posts that compete for your attention due to lower user numbers. When the user base increases posts will increase as well and this will result in more posts competing for your _limited_ attention. We are the bottle neck.

Epic video, well done. One thing that might effect the higher engagement on Blue Sky is the less saturated timeline compared to X. Let's hope it stays that way!

Always keep in mind that all your posts can and will be used by all kinds of actors for all kinds of purposes. AI/ML is one use case, and that's also one of the reasons why X put their API behind an expensive paywall. Bsky is a public network/protocol and offers a free API.

ok, let's break it down. at the core of atproto is the data. it lives own your own computer (or someone hosts it for you). think of it as a hard drive with JSON files on it data is structured (i.e. has a type), and can references other records on other peoples' computer with a URI like a hyperlink
