Zack Polanski, "If we decarbonise by 2050, that would cost less than a single (fossil-fuel) energy shock" "We've now had two energy shocks in just a few years" "We cannot keep waiting, we cannot keep hoping for magic technologies - it already exists, what is lacking is the political will"

I can’t believe we’re still having a debate about whether there’s a trade off between job creation and measures to green the economy. There isn’t. The evidence was clear years ago - a green economy creates far more jobs than the fossil fuel economy it replaces. Come on Labour, catch up …

...and something I'm watching for the first time, as I've only just noticed it 🤔 Evidence of a slight Parasympathetic swing / dominance, combined with VERY HIGH SDNN... Looking back at months of EliteHRV data I can see that this can often be followed the next day with a HRV drop 🤔 Interesting!

EliteHRV morning check in screenshot again. 8 out of 10 and slight parasympathetic dominanceSDNN graph for each day. Sudden rise to over 100ms this morning. Generally it has been below 70ms recently...

I already had my Samsung watch to go with my phone, it has some health/sleep monitoring features, but it's not really optimized like that - but it DOES display the Notifications from Visible without checking my phone. The Garmin I have is geared more towards fitness, but it has "Body Battery"...

I’m intrigued by the recent resurgence of the ‘Long Covid is not real’ nonsense we saw back in 20/21. The refusal to learn is one thing, but the dismissal of reality is another. Long Covid is too painful, too common & too present in many people’s lives to be denied. The story is hard to rewrite.
