New Meta ad buy by Mary Peltola says that she "doesn't want kids getting gender surgeries or men in girls' bathrooms." This comes the same day a NYT report stated that she regularly used the word "faggot" around staff.

Part of what prompted this thread (there was oh so much) were Dems backing the openly transphobic Jamie Ager yelling that our local journalism co-op's "one job" was to back him and not report any bad news about his campaign. Most of us are anarchists. All of us are trans. None of us are Democrats.

As near as I can tell it, the literal position of the Democratic establishment and its faithful is as follows: 1) Everyone to their left, as well as anyone in a marginalized demographic, has to vote for who they tell them to in every election and conform all public statements to their messaging...

Notably this is just at the federal and gubernatorial level. If we start adding in state legislators and local Dems who've gone openly anti-trans we'd have a whole goddamn book.
