The influential 1994 early horror visual novel/adventure SNES game 'Kamaitachi no Yoru' (Banshee's Last Cry) is now fully translated into English! It's about a murder mystery set in a ski lodge with multiple routes.
Kamaitachi no Yoru is simply one of the most important Japanese games in history, period. In the historical trajectory of novel games, if Otogirisou, Chunsoft's previous gane, is Pac-Land, this is Super Mario Brothers. It is that foundational in the storytelling and design paradigms it codified.

This is HISTORICAL.
