A Blue Senate is the only goal right now. Fight about the direction of the party after you win, not before. Same would be true for DSA if Stevens won.
It's hard to stomach David Ellison's pathetic poor, misunderstood, little rich boy's piece in the NYTimes. He lands the independence of news outlets like CBS and has the nerve praise Edward R. Murrow. Murrow would not recognize CBS if he were here today. Ellison's oped shows how dangerous he is.
When Whitehouse is on, he's on. This is a flamethrower.

Blanche's soon to be confirmation as AG us not further proof of Trump's corruption. It's a blatant reminder of the rot of the entire GOP. Tump did not appear in a vacuum. He was carefully cultivated over the years by a GOP obsessed with ruling, not governing.
In our conspiracy riddled world, here's another one. Republicans rally around Paxton to keep Texas red. Then, once elected, force him to resign by blackmailing him with indictments. Paxton resigns, and Abbot appoints another Republican as senator. Cornyn?
They are a moral disgrace.. and this is what they do when they are NOT running for re-election.

Dems dumped Platner and Swalwell . Max Miller remains. That is the difference between the two parties.
This supposed 'deal' doesn't prevent payouts to violent insurrectionists in the future. It doesn't prevent the admin from bringing the slush fund back from the dead next week or using DOJ’s Judgment Fund for the same illicit purpose.

I would like the press (long shot, I know) to investigate where the money for Republicans is coming from. My guess that huge influx of cash is from 3-5 oligarchs worried they're power will be stripped if Dems take over.
A modest proposal. Let's tell Trump he was right. He won in 2020. Give him an inauguration fr 2020. Then force him to resign because he can only be sworn in twice.
While I agree with some of the views of Democratic Socialists I disagree with much of their rhetoric (defund the police, open borders). I also know there is no way this country will do either. Dems need to wake the f* up and vote for whomever their nominee is to get rid of Republicans.
ICE is still refusing to follow through on its pledge to equip its officers with body cameras. Their goal is without body camera footage, accountability becomes much harder. If you witness an interaction, remember to keep your camera rolling and document what you can safely.
Apparently, it’s not that important for Trump to have an Attorney General. Certainly, not if it conflicts with his ability to protect himself from tax audit or investigation, or to reward friends, cronies and insurrectionists with taxpayer funds. It’s always about him. Never about you.
It’s crazy the MAGA party is struggling so badly that they’re bringing up COVID again. We guess when you can’t defend what’s happening now, a distraction is the next best thing.
