This Saturday, Hawai'i is holding their primary, which also has the best chance, so far, to remove a Trump-friendly Dem. Ed Case (HI-1, 20.8%) is facing State Senator Jarrett Keohokalole. He supports Medicare for All, is to the left of Case on immigration, and supports trans rights.

a Muslim beating 60m in AIPAC money that was almost exclusively spent to slander him as a sexist that wanted Trump to win is a huge result, even if the polls missed. If AES holds on, he beat a very strong democratic establishment in Michigan even if they didn't send their best.

AES winning can't be a bigger deal than Mamdani's win was, because beating Cuomo in the Democratic Party Death Star was fucking crazy, but this is pretty close. Dude fought APAIC and won. Absolutely stunning stuff.

Democrats endorsing the Democratic nominee as soon as they're nominated is good and more Democrats should do it more often. (Not that my "endorsement" matters, but AES absolutely has it and we should do everything we can to ensure he keeps Michigan's Senate seat in D hands this November).
