"Abdul is from Egypt! ... I'm not Egyptian, I'm American!" And it only gets worse from there. (Once again, El-Sayed was born in the Detroit suburbs. He's spent his whole life in Michigan.)
If you think Fox has ramped up the Islamophobic outrage over Abdul El-Sayed's victory, you really need to check out what Newsmax was doing last night. It's hard to put into words how racist this is, but also notice how the anchor lies and calls El-Sayed an "immigrant from another Muslim country."

And I worry that there are a lot of people on the left who don't care about this problem because they hate AI. But the truth is that as this technology continues to get jammed into everything from customer service to banking to fast food orders, having built-in fair right bias is bad.
It's really not good that the government is trying to force AI companies to make their LLM chatbots "anti-woke" (biased in favor of the right).

This feels like the very predictable outcome of Tucker Carlson's anti-Trump pivot: he's doing it to run in 2028.
The U.S. Attorney believes that a "public rebuke" and an internal review are sufficient for egregious prosecutorial misconduct that put my family through hell. My seven-year-old is still having nightmares and panic attacks related to this case. Justice requires transparency and accountability.
