Yes! It’s a mini Comic-Con but I’m talking with the librarian about running some seminars on game design for board games and TTRPGs etc. Do you know @bexagons.bsky.social? She’s an awesome librarian who promotes tabletop games heavily wherever she roams!

Ahhh, I'm so excited for these bookmarks! Last semester I worked with students in the North Central College Design Agency class and they designed these for @oesterlelib (where I'm a librarian). Sky, Meredith, and Paulina were lovely to work with 💙 I've printed 1/3 of the designs, more to come later!

I think that if there's an overarching theme to my writing at Skeleton Code Machine, it's that I want people to try to make games. Little games, big games, weird games, whatever. I believe that act of creating art and games is inherently good. Hopefully today's post encourages people to try it.
