Any politician who’s willing to throw away one group’s rights is willing to throw away everyone’s rights. It’s that simple. Every single consultant, pundit and candidate who’s shown a willingness to abandon trans rights needs to be shunned from the party forever

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

If we tax Elon Musk and his fellow billionaires appropriately, every child in America can have healthcare, education, and a well funded social safety net instead of some racist billionaire’s pathetic pr stunt

Elon Musk has said he will give every child in America a stake in SpaceX, his $2 trillion aerospace and artificial intelligence company, as tech firms face intensifying scrutiny over their impact on society. https://cnn.it/4yWTjTJ

I made a Headless Horseman statue (sculpted in ZBrush, printed with Bambu printers), with fancy jack o’ lantern lighting. Sculpting and painting characters is so much easier when you leave out the head.

Sometimes society at large rejects certain ideas because they’ve been thoroughly shown to be wrong and also because they suck and the people who espouse them suck and when someone comes around arguing those ideas should be part of some edgy modern debate we can and should shun them and move on.

I thought it'd be interesting to take a picture of the same tree every day for a year and see how it changed. What I learned was that somehow I managed to forget to do it more than a hundred times. I got inspired by Scribner's animated cover reveal for @astrokatie.com 's forthcoming book; combine that with me happy to find fun ways to procrastinate in working on my own animation project and you get a frenzied bout of modeled puzzle pieces in Maya and some fancification in After Effects.

I pre-ordered "How to Build a Universe: (Theoretically Speaking)"! Hooray! It's good now to have a legitimate reason to look forward to March, which, let's be honest, hasn't done much recently to distinguish itself as a month. The Ides have been coasting on their laurels for almost 2100 years.

I’m wondering if there exists in the world a single local car dealership commercial in which the entire staff at one point doesn’t attempt and largely fail to shout something in unison.

Please enjoy this magical sight 🦦 The gardeners at Bodnant have known for years there are otters onsite, but they have remained hidden... until now. This critter was spotted enjoying the river Hiraethlyn near the Old Mill. 🎥: An otter flowing gracefully down a stream surrounded by lush greenery
