Everyone’s expectations got skewed over the past week but Abdul El-Sayed getting $70 million spent against him in a state he lost a primary by like 20 points eight years ago and still winning last night is probably the most impressive electoral accomplishment of the decade.
He started by committing housing discrimination. Cheated dozens of contractors. There were the charities and Trump University people he defrauded. He assaulted E Jean Carroll. 34 financial crimes. Even now he’s running a crypto scam He’s always been a criminal and con artist MAGA chose him anyway

Kind of impressed they managed to find someone almost as creepy looking as Stephen Miller to flank Vance on the other side.
This is just rank Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism, based on the bigoted idea that there is something inherently scary about a president with the last name "El-Sayed." It is incumbent on all of us to call it out.
