the important point here being that none of these contradictions around racialization are "solved" but are always strategic ones made to enact policing-effects. just like how whiteness becomes a cross-gender cross-class national [racial] union to "protect the borders" against "the global south"

i hesitate to even label it an issue of white women alone either because across the planet many cis women of colour are joining in on transmisogyny! it resembles how cis men of colour around the planet have hopped into fascist nationalist politics around brotherhoods w/ white men to control women

yeah people still think the radicalization of women into far right politics is just "white women becoming tradwives" and this framing is so hopelessly outdated that you will get encircled if you presume it to be the case right now or even the full story

This is an important point. The issue of white middle-class cis women becoming "radicalised" (for want of a better word) into transphobia and broader far right beliefs (very often adopting the latter after embracing the former - transphobia is a gateway), needs much more attention given to it.

If it was really "just a tool" no one would give a shit. If I use Photoshop to make an illustration, no one would see any issue with my artwork. If I use Word or Final Draft to write something, no one would care. So what's the difference? Why is it bad that people know you're using ai?

It's really amazing how Brodido just sort of happened and the team has ended up being an absolute boon for AEW, one of the best "just put two guys together" tag teams ever?
